Who are Close Brothers?

Close Brothers Group plc is a substantial and expanding merchant banking group based in the City of London. Founded in 1878, Close Brothers is now amongst the 200 largest companies in the U.K., by market capitalisation, with assets of £4.8bn at 31st July 2006.

The Group's major shareholders are large financial institutions, some of whom have supported us for over 40 years.
